Igor Turovskiy grew up in Belarus, immersed in natural and architectural beauty. His surroundings influenced his artistic interests at a very young age, and sparked his career as a graphic artist.
In 1992, he moved to America and opened his own graphic design studio. Several years later, he has found his niche in the world of abstract art. The pieces are created with mixtures of metallic mica pigments and fluid acrylics. Employing the viscous effects of epoxy resin, the fluid motion of the mixtures is frozen in time. Emotion is conveyed in the pieces through the use of nuance layers and the organic flow of the resin. His artworks have been shown in galleries throughout the United States and private homes worldwide. Igor’s artwork was also displayed in “Empire”, the Fox TV Show.
Poems Art Publishing, L.L.C., based in Salt Lake City, Utah, was created in 1997 by business partners, Nasser Shotorbani and Laurie Downing. Both shared a clear vision and business philosophy: to select art and artists working in truly distinctive styles, make bold creative choices, and be uncompromising in production and presentation.
From the onset, Poems brought new decorative trends to the marketplace, including a popular X-ray botanical collection by radiology technician/photographer Steven N. Meyers and, most recently, compelling digital compositions by J.P. Clive, to mention a few. Artistry from around the world is represented in Poems’ contemporary collection, with an extensive variety of subject matter and mediums.
In 2010, Poems launched AlterEgos, its new division for custom Giclee printing on alternative substrates. Most imagery in the Poems collection is available for prints on demand and Poems’ capabilities in this area continue to expand and grow.
In 2013, Nasser Shotorbani acquired full ownership of Poems and brought Owen Hickey on board as President.

Poems is pleased to present its entire current collection online. Browsing has never been easier! We offer multiple search functions to help you locate desired imagery:
Enter an item number, title, or key word in the Search field. This will connect you directly with any corresponding imagery.
Categories listed in the sidebar on the Images page will refer you to groups of images such as New Releases or Top Sellers, or you can search by subject matter. You may then sort according to artist, item number, or title, or filter by size, format, or color. These options are accessible in the drop-down boxes across the top of the image thumbnails.
To view collections by individual artists, visit each artist’s page where you’ll find their photo, biography, and image references.
This unique function (great for presentations!) allows you to collect images for future reference (similar to a Wish List) or for printing onto standard letter-sized paper. Click the Add to Art Board symbol under an image to place it into a PDF file that may be downloaded to your computer for printing. Each page will display the image, item number, title, and size.
